Embird Embroidery Software Tutorial

Starting with Embird 2017, it is possible to quickly update the program components if the computer is connected to Internet. Once the download of new components is completed, the computer must be restarted and then downloaded files are copied to Embird main folder. Finally, on first run of updated Embird, the Iconizer plug-in settings will be automatically restored, as well as the launching of optional programs Embird Quick Searcher and Embird Clip Image.

1 - Run "Embird".

2 - Select menu "Help > Online Update" (Picture No. 1).

3 - Embird will check the availability of product update. The dialog box allowing online update will appear on the screen if there is a new version available (Picture No. 2). Click "Online Update" button to continue.

4 - Embird will switch off the Iconizer plug-in, and also optional programs Embird Quick Searcher and Embird Clip Image if they are running. Then it will close its window and the download of new components will begin (Picture No. 3).

5 - Once the download of new components is completed, you will be asked to restart your computer (Picture No. 4). Click "Yes" button to continue.

6 - The operating system will be launched and the new files will be copied from temporary download folder to Embird main folder (Picture No. 5).

7 - Wait until all files are moved to main Embird folder and the program group is created (Picture No. 6).

8 - Run updated Embird, it will start and restore Iconizer plug-in settings and it is ready for use (Picture No. 7).
